Adcom said that it had sold mobile handsets to Ringing Bells for ₹3,600 a unit and was not knowing that they will re-sell the device at ₹251.
Adcom also warned of Ringing Bells a legal action against them in case the latter’s activities cause any kind of losses.
Yes, it may be crazy that the handset Ringing Bells showcased as Freedom 251 was sold to them at ₹3600 . It’s impossible to think a way by which a handset bought at ₹3600 can be sold at ₹251 . Ringing Bells must be having an ‘Aladin ka chiraag’. However, they claimed that the handset they propagandized didn’t represent the actual product.
Even Adcom said, “We are deeply grieved by this incident where our mobile phone has been presented to masses at ₹251, and therefore, would not hesitate from taking any legal actions against the company, in case the entire fiasco impacts Adcom’s brand name or subsequently we face any other kind of losses.”
Freedom 251 may be one of the biggest controversies and it’s getting worse day by day. We can’t say anything certainly about this controversy .
