LG looks forward to offer the style of LG G3 into its new model LG G3 Stylus at a more affordable price to fit in everyone’s budget. I was launched in August, 2014 at a price just above Rs 20,000. As the name suggests, it comes with a stylus to help you take down notes quickly and draw everything you desire with much ease and accuracy. Currently the price has come down and it is listed at Rs 19,000 on the official website of LG.
It comes with a large screen of 5.5 inches but the display lacks the ultra clarity and sharpness because of the lower resolution of just 540 pixels by 960 pixels. The pixel density is also low at just 200 pixels per inch. The mobile looks attractive and inspite of the large screen, it is comfortable and easy to grip because of the curved designs and soft corners.
G3 Stylus fails to impress from inside due its average MediaTek MT6582 processor which is an ordinary quad core processor for this price. It runs at a clocking frequency of 1.3 GHz. It is backed up by 1 GB of RAM which is good but you expect more at this price.
The internal memory is of 8GB which is just enough to accommodate apps and your data files to some extent. The memory can be extended using a micro SD card upto 32 GB which is handy on a longer run when you are bound to run out of memory.
It consists of dual camera with the main camera of 13 MP. Although the resolution sounds pretty impressive but camera quality is not brilliant but good. It comes with auto focus and LED flash which makes it look better. The front camera is of just 1.3 MP and you cannot expect good selfie at this low resolution.
Coming to battery, you will be pleased with the 3000 mAh battery which is really impressive and something that you need to drive your large screen for longer time. LG claims the talk time of over 16 hours and standby of 880 hours on 3G network which is very good even on practical grounds.
LG G3 Stylus comes with some special features like the smart keyboard which can be easily adjusted in height to suit your preferences. It really makes you type faster with more efficiency.
There is new way to unlock and awake your phone with very unique knock code which allows you to set one amongst the 86,000 combination codes based on knocking your screen.
